Lush Christmas 2015 Haul | Part 2

We recently posted our first Lush Christmas haul and here is part two (finally)! We’ve been so busy with college/uni and work lately so it’s been nice to treat ourselves to some Lush products. We hope you can find some products that you like the look of so that you too can treat yourself over the next few months! Let’s face it, with the colder weather coming we all deserve a little bath time treat!

Lauren

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb – £2.95

I won’t lie, I’m a sucker for a cheap bath bomb so when I saw Dashing Santa was only £2.95 it went straight in my basket. That being said the scent is lovely! I’ve probably said it before but I love a good citrus scent and this bath bomb has mandarin and bergamot oils in. It smells heavenly but not overpowering at all. I can’t wait to use this in the bath and see how pretty the water is!

Santa’s Belly Shower Jelly – £3.95

Another Santa themed product is this amazing Shower Jelly! Usually I’m not a fan of the Shower Jelly’s but I thought as this smells so nice I’d give it a shot! Santa’s Belly has an overwhelming scent of red apples which for some reason gives it that Christmassy feeling. The cute little touch of having stars within the jelly add to the magic! However, I have found that the newer jellies are a lot more watery than the old. When getting this out of the pot my hands got covered in it!

Fairy Dust Dusting Powder – £5.95

Fairy Dust is probably one of my favourite products that I have EVER bought from Lush. Yes I really do love it that much and I haven’t even used it yet eeek! I have never bought a dusting powder before because, well I never really knew what they were for. After spending ages in our local store (as usual!!) one member of staff explained dusting powders and showed me Fairy Dust! I instantly fell in love, the scent is the same as Snow Fairy and it leaves your skin all sparkly and soft. I have also been told that a little goes a long way with this product, I’m hoping it’ll last me until next Christmas!!

Yog Nog Bath Bomb – £3.95

At first I wasn’t too keen on the look of this bath bomb, we were shown a demo in store and I’ll admit, I don’t like how it looks in the water. However, the next time we went to Lush I just couldn’t resist buying it! It smells like creamy toffee and I adore it. I think you either love or hate the scent of this bath ballistic as it’s quite strong and if you don’t like very sweet smells, you may not be a fan. As much as I dislike the luminous yellow colour it makes the water, I know this will be really moisturising  since it has thick chunks of shea butter inside it!

Butterbear Bath Bomb – £1.95

This bath bomb is basically Butterball but in the shape of a teddy bear and well, cheaper!! Butterball is the first Lush bath bomb I ever used and if you read my review you’ll know I loved it! I love the fact it is a bit cheaper even though I’m pretty sure it’s the same size as Butterball. For £1.97 you can’t go wrong really and I think I’ll be buying a few more of these vanilla scented teddy bears to keep me going!

Both of us

Santa’s Lip Scrub – £5.50

Lush lip scrubs have always been a favourite of ours. In fact, we wrote one of our first ever blog posts about the Bubblegum lip scrub!! We’ve heard people talk about the Santa lip scrub in the past and as soon as we picked it up we realised what the fuss is all about. It smells like cola but the taste is rather odd and we can’t decide whether it tastes like cola bottles, cherries or marzipan! Santa’s lip scrub is definitely one of our favourites from the Christmas range and it’s so moisturising for your lips!

We’re hoping to take a visit to our local Lush store again soon. Hopefully we’ll come back with loads more bits to show you!

  1. I bought the Santas Lip Scrub. It is amazing (first lip scrub I have ever used!) I might have to try the Fairy Dust sprinkly stuff. I love the smell of Snow Fairy, another new purchase of mine, so it sounds like I might like this too!
