Now Lush are well known for their quirky and pretty products but these Bubbleroons take that to a whole new level. If you’ve been to lush before you may remember the old Bubbleroons, they were a lot smaller and rather boring. All three have now been re-vamped and they look and smell even better! We’re huge fans of the Rose Jam scent so we thought we’d give this one a go.
First of all, if you have no idea what Rose Jam smells like it shares its scent with some other Lush items. Some of these include: Jason and the Argan Oil shampoo bar, Ro’s Argan body conditioner and the Pearl massage bar! One of our favourite things about these Bubbleroons (other than the scent) is the design. They’re the shape of a rose and extremely glittery! The smell is SO strong but not overpowering or sickly. If you do remember the previous design, you may have seen that the two halves of the Bubbleroon didn’t stick together very well. It is clear that Lush have changed this as there is a thick layer of cocoa butter in the middle and it’s pretty hard to break in half now!
Another noticeable difference is the size of this Bubbleroon (unfortunately we do not own one of the old ones to compare it to). The revamped version is now the size of your palm whereas the old style was tiny in comparison. For the same price (£3.75) as the old style you’re getting a lot more for your money. If you wanted an extremely bubbly bath you could use the whole of this item. That being said we like to get the most for our money so we’ve decided to cut the product in half and break pieces off!
Rose Jam gives you lots of bubbles and turns your water this beautiful pink colour. The water feels incredibly soft and leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky. It also crumbles really easily before you even hold it under the tap, this again could be due to the cocoa butter. We aren’t 100% sure if there are many differences between Bubbleroons and Bubble Bars other than the layer of cocoa butter, which is an added bonus for your skin!
Have you ever tried any of the Bubbleroons?! If you’ve tried the revamped ones, which is your favourite?
