Spring Fashion Haul Part 2 | 2015

So last month we posted a Spring fashion haul, and it’s safe to say we have been unable to stay away from the shops again! As we haven’t done a fashion post in a while we thought we’d show you some lovely pieces we have picked up! Fingers crossed these pieces will still be online/in store if you’d like to buy them as they’re only recent purchases. We hope you find something you like!

Rachel-

Vest Top  & Shorts- H&M

I featured this vest top in black in our last Spring haul and I loved it so much I knew I had to get it in another colour! I mostly wear dark clothes so I thought why not add a bit of colour to my wardrobe and buy it in baby blue? Again, I love how it’s cropped as it goes so well with these high waisted shorts, also from H&M. They’ve got an acid wash effect which I love! I feel like it adds a bit of ‘grunge’ to an outfit which is what I’m all about really! It’s good to have a few pairs of shorts for the summer and I’l probably wear these in Autumn too since they go well with tights!

Shorts- Primark

For years I’ve wanted a pair of shorts like this! Primark have helped me out with this one and for just £12, I knew I had to buy these as soon as I laid eyes on them! The little bit of printed comic strip material is so me as I love anything Marvel! I love the distressed look and all of the little details as a whole. The back pockets also stood out to me as they’re so fun and just something really different! They feature two of my most favourite superheroes, Spider-Man and Iron Man too so it makes them even better!

Fit & Flare Combo Cami Dress and Denim Jacket- Forever 21

I’ve been looking for a dress/skirt like this for a while now. I love how flowy it is and it’s so different to all of my usual skater style dresses! It’s basically like a pencil style dress underneath with a flowy chiffon skirt over the top! On the website it looked a lot shorter but I’m about 5 ft 7 and in a size ‘small’, it’s actually quite long on me. At first I wasn’t happy with this but then again, it’s good to try something different?! The cami straps are so cute but since I’m not really a fan of showing off all of my arms and the top of my chest, I style it with this denim jacket which I also got from Forever 21! It’s cropped so it goes so well with anything high waisted. I love how light the colour is too, since again, it helps break up my wardrobe a bit and add a splash of colour!

Washed Black Ripped Joni Jeans- Topshop

I love a good pair of ripped jeans and these washed out black Joni jeans are my favourite pair I own now! I usually wear Jamie jeans and decided to try Joni’s as I love how high wasted and stretchy they are! The only problem I’ve had is that the elastic has pulled a tiny bit behind one of the knees. Other than that I love how they fit as they’re sooo skinny! I love the off-black colour and the extra little rip above the left knee!

Bleached Ripped Joni Jeans- Topshop

I decided I need some lighter jeans, especially for the summer, so I got the exact same jeans in light blue! I feel like the rips make them even better for summer and I actually love wearing jeans in a colour other than black/grey! The only problem with Joni jeans is they have no pockets, which is a bit annoying when you don’t have a bag with you! Other than that I love the colour of these and the style of Joni jeans in general!

Lauren-

Mystical Crop Tank – New Look / MOTO Clean-Cut Denim Mini Skirt – Topshop

I’ve been wanting a black denim skirt for so long so when I found this one in Topshop I was over the moon! It is a staple piece in my wardrobe as it goes with anything and can be worn in any season! I also loved the fact that it had pockets, everyone loves pockets right?! I think it goes really well with this cropped tank that I purchased from New Look. I love the pattern on the front of this tank, it’s what drew me in to buying it as I wasn’t too keen on the colour first of all. The ‘mystical’ sort of print is something that appeals to me and I don’t own anything similar to this!

Tunic – Topshop

For months I wanted to get my hands on this tunic but at £32 I thought to myself, is it really worth it?! A few weeks ago I found it in the Topshop sale and my face instantly lit up when I realised I could get it for over half the original price! When I initially tried it on I was a little worried it looked like a sack, as I’m so small things tend to swamp me when they’re oversized. However, as I’ll probably be wearing it mainly in Autumn/Winter does it really matter?!

Cut Out Dresses – H&M

Oh H&M how I love you!! I have purchased so many dresses from H&M recently as I’m so impressed with the prices and their different styles. Embarrassingly enough I have this style of dress in the 4 different patterns they sell! I love the cut out detail it has around the waist and there are also bits cut out near the chest area. My personal favourite would have to be the floral dress as It’s so girly and really summery I’m so glad I picked it up as it is something I wouldn’t usually go for.

Crop Top – Topshop / MOTO Button Front A-Line skirt – Topshop

Everyone loves a Topshop crop. They always have a certain style of crop that they sell in a million different colours. I think this years are my personal favourites as they are quite a thick material and therefore aren’t see through! For only £8 as well they’re really good quality and they wash up lovely. This skirt is one of my favourite items of clothing I have bought in so long, I love the button detail down the front and it’s made from thick denim so is well worth the money! I think this will be one of my most worn items of clothing this Spring/Summer!

  1. I love that floral baby blue top, so pretty. I’m just getting into wearing blue at the moment as when I see it in photos, I think it would suit me yet I have very few blue things in my wardrobe! xxx
